Auction #197 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 991 in auction 197
Item Description
1.75" and the last of six from the Levin collection. Button includes location "Polo Grounds" and date "July 29" from the year 1957 when he fought opponent Tommy 'Hurricane' Jackson. Button has bit of a yellow tone to it due to the nature of the celluloid covering made by the maker Emress. There are also a couple of tiny air dots and a .25" air line on the right side of his face and shoulder but these just show in certain reflected light angles. Button still displays cleanly. Comes with Hakes COA.
