Item Description
A total of 32 different titles were issued in 1950-1951 in sets of 8 designated A-D. This is set "A," number A1-A8. Titles are "Mickey Mouse And The Disappearing Island; Grandma Duck, Homespun Detective; Donald Duck And The Haunted Jewels; Donald Duck And The Giant Ape; Mickey Mouse, Roving Reporter; Li'l Bad Wolf, Forest Ranger; Goofy, Tightrope Acrobat; Pluto And The Bogus Money." Each is 2-5/8x6-7/8" with 32 pages in full color. Each features different Wheaties ad on back cover spotlighting different Disney characters/cereal promotions. "Mickey Mouse And The Disappearing Island" has 5/8" tear at top center margin but o/w aside from light aging, rest are N. Mint. Comes with original General Mills mailing envelope which shows wear from mailing. Fine.
