This popular 1930s promotion involved many different bakeries. There were also several different scrapbooks/series issued (see previous item #1903). This scrapbook is 4x6" while the cards are 2.75x4.25". Imprint on scrapbook is "Bake-Rite Gold Seal Bread." Booklet is designed to hold 48 recipe cards, each page has same design of character images on border around recipe area where pictures are to be mounted. Lt. aging. VF. A total of 96 cards were issued in this series, each bearing the title on reverse "Follow The Adventures Of Mickey Mouse." This lot includes 70 different cards which feature great illustrations involving Mickey and Minnie, their nephews and Pluto. A variety of different imprints appear on card backs. 14 cards show very little wear and are without the small margin tears typically found on these cards. These are VF to Exc. Nearly all other cards have this small margin tear. 29 are Fine with typical wear/aging. 27 are Good to VG with more noticeable/obvious wear and aging, some with penciling and crayoning to reverses, one trimmed.
