Issued 1992-93 (retired 12/93) for charter members of the Walt Disney Classics Collection, this multi-piece membership kit comes in original shipping carton which is 14x23x4.5" deep. First and foremost is 3.75" tall exceptional porcelain figurine of Jiminy Cricket. Has steamboat wheel back stamp production mark which was used in 1992. Comes in individual box. Other items included as issued are a high quality bound folio to hold "Sketches" magazines and other society keepsakes, enameled metal charter member pin also featuring Jiminy Cricket. Missing the credit card-like membership card, however, comes with many extras obtained by this member over the years including the first 7 issues of "Sketches" magazine, various catalogues, fliers, promotional event postcards and other paperwork. There are also 2 additional member pinback buttons. All of the paperwork adds up to an invaluable reference to the first few years of WDCC's existence. Figurine which was sculpted by Kent Melton is Mint as issued. All else has scattered light handling wear but largely Exc. Original shipping box is Fine.
