Item Description
Large 2.25" and the first we've seen picturing an elaborate barber's chair at center with name of company above "August Kern - Barber - Supply Co. St. Louis, Mo." The cello surface as very slightly concave and at lower right there is a .25" fairly deep scratch but just showing in normal light as a tiny 1/8" hairline where the white bkg. meets the black rim. Upper left has single 1/16" dia. air dot also showing just a trifle. Button still displays extremely clean. No backpaper and metal back has fairly heavy coating of oxidation but this did not cause any spotting on the celluloid. The earliest and best barber-related button we've ever seen.
