Item Description
Smallest in the group is 5/8" for "Protective Life Assurance." Largest at bottom is 1.75" featuring a business name. The buttons range from 1900 to the 1930s, with and without backpapers as issued. Includes pair from 1901 Buffalo Exposition. The one at the top of the group is a superb multicolor while the second is Row 1, #3. Row 1, #1 advertises a "Buffalo" cigar. Row 3, #1 is from 1910 Genesee street carnival we've not seen before. The "Niagara Falls" button next to this is among the earliest we've seen and has W&H backpaper c. 1897. Row 3, #3 is for a bowling event in Buffalo, 1931. Backpaper on the 1.75" button has some dust and a small spot of surface paper gone but largely an Exc. group that displays Mint. The most extensive Buffalo themed collection we've seen with numerous rarities.
