Item Description
1.75" depicts cartoon bird wearing fraternal feathered hat, smoking a cigar held in its beak and holding a liquor bottle under one wing. Bird wears big black shoes and perches on a tree limb with a fraternal sword handle at right. His cartoon balloon reads "I Belong To Ascalon, Where You From?" Small sign attached to branch reads "You Should Belong To Ascalon." Rim text is "Ascalon Commandary No. 59 Knights Templar Pittsburgh Pa. 1906." Has W&H paper. One of about 5 we've seen in 4 decades. Beautiful example with high gloss. N. Mint, displaying Mint. Our last example exceeded $250.
