Item Description
Matching pair, each 6.5" tall thin cardboard with glossy finish. For c. 1947 lamps by the Railley Corp. that featured figurines of each character produced by Shaw/American Pottery attached to lamp bases. The Railley Corp. produced a number of different Disney lamps (see Pluto #1939) and some shades were designed without the standard wire inner attachment but rather were to be placed over a separate inner plastic bowl which bulb attached to. Both of these are of that style although the inner plastic bowls not included. Both have wrap-around designs, one featuring 3 images of Joe while the other is single image of Panchito singing surrounded by cactus and music notes. Both have old store stock appearance with just slight trace of aging. Both remain bright and glossy, Exc. Scarce and rarely found in this choice condition.
