Item Description
The Disney Studio was unhappy with the images of Mickey used on club buttons such as items #1011-1012. They quickly prevailed upon the movie theater owners to adopt the studio-designed version of Mickey and it is likely this 7/8" b/w version somewhat pre-dates those buttons that were done in the larger 1.25" size although both have the same text beneath Mickey reading "Copr. 1928-1930/By W.E. Disney." Button carries the backpaper of maker Phila. Badge Co. Exc. and displays Mint. Also see briefly-used design item #1014.
