Item Description
13x16x1" deep box contains parts for Parker Bros. game c. 1933 and based on the Silly Symphony short. Lid has large 3x11" area of moisture staining although most blends. Moderate edge wear with a corner split and 1" edge split with tape repair on inside. Box VG. On inside of box bottom is paper label which serves as the gameboard. Nicely illustrated featuring story scenes/events/characters. This includes large image of the Pied Piper at center towering over the "Town Of Hamelin." Smaller illustrations of Mr. Rat, the Mayor and his Wife, Butcher, Grocer, Grandpa Smoltz, others. Missing generic spinner as well as 12 of 40 plain red cardboard counter disks but has the four wood playing pieces and small instruction paper. Despite the box wear, the gameboard label is bright and Exc. Among the rarest Disney games and one of the few items for this short.
