Three items from 1941 for character that appeared in the 1941 film The Reluctant Dragon. First is 6" tall ceramic figurine by Vernon Kilns. Exc. Second is child's utensil set of plastic knife, fork and spoon attached to 4.5x8" display card. Handles feature relief image of Baby Weems who also appears on the display card seated in a high chair. By Bestmaid. Card has scattered aging and wear including several small tears to die-cut slots. Card Fine with Exc. set. Third is 7x9.5" hardcover with dust jacket. By Doubleday Doran & Co. Inc. 64 pages with story art on every page in bw accented with either pink or blue. Dust jacket has moderate scattered edge wear with some surface paper rubs and small tears. VG. Book has slight warp. Lightly aged. Fine. An instant collection for this character, the only 3 vintage items we know of.
