Item Description
Button is 2.5" dated for brief event October 21-24, 1956 for the "A.B.A. Convention." Mickey recognizes this group of bankers by saying above "Welcome To Disneyland" plus dressing in his finest clothes accented by a top hat bearing dollar signs. The earliest special event button we know of for Disneyland. Comes with 3.5" dia. by .5" thick metal compact which shows Disneyland castle in bright brass luster against brushed silver bkg. Interior has puff powder and mirror. Couple very fine dots of wear on the compact but this remains Exc. and the button is essentially Mint.
