Item Description
3.25x5-1/8" double sheet of cardboard has front photo of Gene wearing the ring with text at bottom "Wear My Horseshoe Nail Ring For Good Luck Gene Autry" with his Flying A logo below. Reverse cardboard has text and story from Gene stating that "This Little Horseshoe Nail Ring From Champion And Me Has A Special Spot In My Affections..." Text relates how Gene received one of these rings from an Oklahoma Indian Chief who considered a horseshoe nail ring better than gold and certain to bring luck. The outer surface of the ring has both Gene's full name and his Flying A logo. Cardboard has light general age including single pin hole at upper left corner but certainly still in Fine condition and the ring itself is Mint. Second example we can recall on the original card.
