Item Description
First is 2.25" "Dixies" lid picturing him and naming movie "Silver On The Sage." Light wear but Fine. Second is larger ice cream cup lid 2.75" for "Puritan Ice Cream Hopalong Cassidy's Favorite." Minor crease at base of tab but clean and VF. Next is large 4.5x3-5/8" stiff paper tag with text on the underside for "Hoppy's" denim pants by Blue Ball. Small 2.5x.5" area right of Hoppy's holster where black color is a little irregular but hardly showing and piece displays N. Mint. Rare. Next is 2-5/8" tall "Will's Cigarettes/William Boyd" tobacco card. This is English. Reverse has couple faint ink marks and very slight loss of a little text forming his biography. All remains readable. Next is 3-3/8" long somewhat creased and worn but rare member's card for "Hopalong Cassidy Trooper's Club" from "Barbara Ann Bread." Reverse has chart of coded symbols and 1949 copyright. Next is 3.5x7" paper titled "A Personal Message To You From Hopalong Cassidy." Hoppy's message is "Let's All Shoot Straight With The Men Of Our Armed Forces Who Never Came Back..." His appeal is for funds to send their children to camp just as their Dads would have done. Dated for 1953. Rare and first we've seen. Exc. Last is 3.25x4.25" stiff glossy photo inscribed "Good Luck From Hoppy And Topper." Some sort of premium. Tiny corner crease and .5" gray rub line at bottom but vast majority is clean.
