Item Description
The ring was a 1942 Ovaltine premium. The folder is 3.25x5.5" and opens in 3 sections to 5.5x9.75". Couple very tiny marks on the front cover and the slightest crease on the upper left corner but overall still extremely clean and VF. A scarce war years premium and actually scarcer than the ring itself. Text contents explain the meaning of the Marine emblem, motto and has verses for the Marine Hymn and tells its story plus many additional facts about the Corps. Back cover has text panel with facsimile signature below "Capt. Midnight 'SS1'."
