Item Description
1947 premium from General Mills with adjustable brass bands that feature smoking lamp on each side over-printed by "GH" initials. Ring top is circular disk of glow-in-dark plastic material which does glow in the dark. This has small pin on top edge to hold embossed brass cover that can swivel to the side so interior compartment serves as secret hiding place. Brass top has large precisely detailed Hornet image with surrounding text "The Green Hornet." The very thin coating of original luster is gone but all surfaces are totally clean and the golden brass displays as if Mint. Only exception is that on the underside of the glow-in-dark compartment, about 35% of its surface has a little rose-colored stain to it. This only shows from the underside or when the ring is viewed on its lower right side edge. Still displays beautifully.
