Item Description
12x13x1" deep box contains complete and unused set by Plain Facts Co. 1940s. Set includes a 12.5x19.5" thick cardboard sheet with die-cut punch-out letters. The entire alphabet is represented plus duplicates of some letters for a total of 42. Each features character image/object to represent that letter and these include Mickey, Donald, Ferdinand, Bambi, Little Hiawatha, Alligator, Unicorn and Vulcan from Fantasia, Big Bad Wolf, Llama from Saludos Amigos, others. Also includes a wood block with slot where letters are to be placed to form words. Nice art on lid depicting Mickey and Donald as teachers surrounded by these character letters. Box has scattered trace of edge wear. VF. Contents Mint. Neat design.
