12x13x1" deep box contains complete and unused set by Plain Facts Co. 1940s. Set includes a 12.5x19.5" thick cardboard sheet with die-cut punch-out letters. The entire alphabet is represented plus duplicates of some letters for a total of 42. Each features character image/object to represent that letter and these include Mickey, Donald, Ferdinand, Bambi, Little Hiawatha, Alligator, Unicorn and Vulcan from Fantasia, Big Bad Wolf, Llama from Saludos Amigos, others. Also includes a wood block with slot where letters are to be placed to form words. Nice art on lid depicting Mickey and Donald as teachers surrounded by these character letters.
