Item Description
7" long tin litho with plated tin bumpers and grille/light assembly. By Nomura Toys, Japan 1950s. Applied label on box lid has age spotting, few bits of missing surface paper. Overall box tight and Fine. Friction mechanism is working and as car moves along, machine gun mounted on hood swings back and forth. A siren-like noise is produced. Nice three-toned lithography with added "Police" markings on trunk, star decorations in the lithography and also on all 4 hubcaps. Lt. wear. A few tiny paint nicks on hood and roof. Aging to plating of grille assembly and bumpers. Fine overall. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
