2-5/8" dia. pedometer with text at center reading "Official Jack Armstrong Pedometer." This is gold version which has "Official" text above Jack Armstrong name. Red on cream bkg. center dial. Reverse has raised "This Belongs To" text with simulated banner which has name scratched into surface. Light surface wear. Fine/VF. Comes with 3x3" folder noting "The Jack Armstrong Hike-O-Meter" with scout graphics, opens to reveal "Hike-O-Meter Treasure Hunt" with pirate theme. Back has operating instructions and ad for Wheaties. Obvious wear with creasing and aging. VG+. c. 1939. Rare variety.
