Item Description
7.5” tall c. 1940. Unmarked but by French company Les Jouets and we have seen companion windups in this size for Joe Carioca (see item #652) and Pinocchio as well as a larger 10.5" tall Pinocchio. Nicely painted and detailed. Has built-in key, feet are painted metal. Toy works and both head and body rock back and forth as it "waddles about." 1.25" stress line at tail as made. Exc. Scarce. This is the actual example shown in The Official Price Guide to Disney Collectibles by Ted Hake and comes w/COA.
