Item Description
3.75x10.25x2.25" deep box contains 10" long nicely designed toy by Sutcliffe Pressings Ltd. c. 1954. Lid text includes "The Submarine From Walt Disney's 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea By Jules Verne." Lid features nice art depicting the Nautilus along with deep sea divers, sunken ship and unusual sea creatures. Light box aging/wear but tight and Exc. Submarine has high-gloss finish paint complete with 4 accent decals, 1 featuring name "Nautilus" and other with company name. Top periscope consists of metal wire periscope and rubber stopper and lifts off for placement of key. Toy works and is designed to be used in water. Box notes "It Dives, It Surfaces." Mint.
