Item Description
Series No. 22. ©1932 King Features Syndicate, Inc. 9-7/8x9-7/8" has wonderful front and back cover art of Jiggs looking through "B" of cover title at pretty girl wearing flapper-style hat. 48 bw pages of comic strip reprints published by Cupples & Leon Co. Title page specialty art shows Jiggs smoking cigar coming out of large top hat. Bw inside front cover has nice ad promoting various comic strip reprint books in series. Right side of front cover has narrow 1.75" area at edge w/a few bits of missing surface paper, back cover has narrow 2" bit of surface paper gone from left side edge and .25" bit of surface paper off lower left corner tip. Right side of back cover has a few very narrow lt. hairline color rubs. Pages are lightly tanned at margin edges but not brittle. Contents are clean, tight and VF. Covers VG/Fine. Scarce, higher number.
