4.25" tall painted and glazed figurine with over-the-glaze red accents. Cork is attached at bottom. Marked "Dorothy Kindell." Kindell was a Laguna Beach, CA. artist and produced unique figurines in the 1940s-1950s. All-over typical crazing except to hair area which has had tiny color touch-up to a chip but blends nicely and is only visible upon close inspection. Tiny dot of glaze off tip of each nipple. Minor flaking to edges of flower in hair. Striking design. Fine. Rare.
