Item Description
11.25x16.5" spiral-bound softcover w/88 pages in bw and choice full color of virtually every KFS daily, Sunday or panel cartoon of the day. Included are Buz Sawyer, Donald Duck, Blondie, Flash Gordon, The Phantom, Bringing Up Father, The Lone Ranger, Uncle Remus w/Brer Rabbit, Mickey Mouse, Polly and Her Pals, Prince Valiant, Popeye, Mandrake, Believe It Or Not, others. Most reprint a nice example from 1945. Additional features include sports, crossword puzzles, patterns, books, etc. Also included is nice half-page promo photo of Milton Caniff w/mention of his new strip, which turned out to be "Steve Canyon." Felix the Cat by Otto Messmer is only shown as a daily strip. Covers have moderate aging and some handling wear resulting in creases and a few small tears at margins. VG/Fine. Contents has creases at corners but remain bright and clean. VF overall. Exceptional. Limited issue mostly for newspaper editors. Additional photos online.
