Book features strips dealing w/Black Americana and is scarce in complete condition as individuals have cut copies apart to sell individual pages. Cover shows obvious handling wear, 2.5x.75" chip to bottom right corner of front cover. Back cover has .25" chip to top margin and heavy 2.5" long crease at bottom left corner, scattered insect damage to surface paper at text at top. Spine cover binding has been reinforced w/cloth long ago. Covers are Good/VG overall. First page has a large 11" tear transversing entire page which has vintage tape repair. Rest of pages show lt. aging and corner tip wear but are Fine overall. According to Overstreet, this book in Good condition lists for $1750, in Fine condition (the highest listed condition) $5775. Highly desirable Platinum Age comic book.
