Item Description
2.75" issued for "Jan '47" graduating class from "Bok" vocational high school in the Philadelphia area. It was a tradition of Philadelphia high schools to produce a graduating class button featuring some well known personality or comic character. The artwork was unlicensed and done by amateur artists so quality varies but in this case the artwork is really quite professional and portrays him singing into a microphone stand all done in a cartoon style with surrounding musical notes. Very limited issue for class members only. Pair of trivial 1/32" cello splits along the covered metal back but all else is Exc. Beautiful and Rare.
