Target is attached to wood base on back plus metal battery operated mechanism designed to swing figures of Popeye and Poopdeck Pappy on see-saw type device. 17" wood bar pivots above the electromagnet and swings 3x3" cardboard images of Popeye and Pappy. These 2 characters plus bowl of "Pipe" are hinged, so when they are hit, they will fall back. Popeye's pipe tip is loose but could be replaced for display. Mechanism does not work. Bright, glossy illustrations remain on large front panel which shows Popeye, Olive Oyl, Wimpy, Olive's brother Castor Oyl and one other character w/point markers. Each character has cartoon balloon w/word or phrase. Wimpy says "A Hamburger, Please." Popeye says "Blow Me Down!" Was original issued w/spring-loaded gun and rubber-tipped darts which are not included. Displays bright, clean and Fine.
