Item Description
8.5” tall tin litho toy with built-in key depicting B.O. Plenty holding Sparkle Plenty in one hand and present marked “For Baby Sparkle” in the other. His name appears on the back of his vest. Has separate tin hat attached to head. Toy works and when wound, figure rocks back and forth as hat tips up and down. c. late 1930s. Back of pants has text “By Permission Of Famous Artists Syndicate Copyright Chicago Tribune.” Marx logo appears below name on back. Moderate scattered traces of wear w/some paint nicks/scratches. Still a Fine example of this classic toy.
