Item Description
8x12.75x1.75” deep box contains 6.5” long replica of detective pistol in bright silver finish luster over white metal plus dark brown marbled and textured plastic grip. 1960s. Gun is designed for holding toy bullets and firing single Greenie Stik-M-Caps as cylinder rotates when trigger is pulled. Raised “Shootin’ Shell Snub-Nose .38” text on left-hand side, right-hand side has Mattel name and logo on grip. Gun shows lt. traces of wear. Exc. Comes with stiff vinyl shoulder holster measuring 13.5” tall to top of shoulder strap. Exc. Comes with original instruction sheet and 7x11” “Pistol Range Target” with silhouette and perforated stand flaps at bottom. Target is moderately aged. Fine/VF. Missing wallet and badge that came with this set. Box shows traces of wear but is free of splits. VF-.
