Item Description
9.25x12.25” publication promotes Paramount Pictures for the first quarter of 1935/1936. Films advertised include: Burns & Allen film “Soup To Nuts,” Zane Grey’s “Wanderer Of The Wasteland, The Big Broadcast Of 1935,” Civil War film “So Red The Rose,” Harold Lloyd film “The Milky Way” as well as full-page ad for Max Fleischer cartoons, another full page devoted to Popeye and Betty Boop, Barney Google, Katzenjammer Kids, Little King and Henry also pictured at bottom. “Sinbad The Sailor” Popeye cartoon has its own full-page ad, another full-page ad devoted to “Hopalong Cassidy” which lists James Gleason as Hopalong Cassidy and pictures several of Clarence E. Mulford’s Hopalong Cassidy books. Early and historic Hopalong Cassidy ad. Publication has wear, especially to cover which is partially loose from book but still attached. VG with VF contents. Very limited distribution. Rare.
