Item Description
3.75x7.25x1.25” deep box. c. 1930s. Made in Japan and distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt Corporation. Box has nice label showing bisque characters included within. Box has lt. scattered dust soiling/aging but remains structurally sound and Fine/VF. Included within are bisque figures measuring between 3-3.5” in height. Included are doll, jack-in-the-box, dog with gatehouse and toy soldier. Babes In Toyland-inspired set, possibly c. 1934 coinciding with release of Laurel & Hardy film. Lt. dust soiling but choice, N. Mint set. A rare bisque set, the only boxed example we have seen in our 42 years.
