Item Description
6.25” long by 2.25” car marked “Made In Japan.” c. 1950s. Hood is marked “Television Car” while doors read “New Car.” At windows are images of driver and technician in matching uniforms and sound man wearing headphones. On top of car is simulated loud speaker. On back is plastic “screen” with image designed to show up when friction mechanism activates sparks. Car no longer sparks although image can be made out and is a baseball scene of batter and catcher. Flint could be replaced for this function to work. Some scattered minute paint scratches/nicks but remains glossy and Exc. with working friction. Neat design.
