Item Description
8x16.5x2” deep box contains complete set by Alps of Japan. c. 1950s. Box lid shows heavy wear with creases, tears and a split corner. Underside of lid has instructional label in Japanese. VG-. Nicely designed set is all tin litho. Consists of 6.5” long “N.Y.C.” locomotive, 3.75” long “N.Y.C.” coal car and 4.5” long loading and unloading platform. Has tin litho crate and barrel. Toy works, locomotive and car travel back and forth to unload and reload freight. N. Mint, old store stock with original cardboard inserts and packaging present.
