Item Description
Lot of four papers from 1933, each 8.5x11”. All four issued by/issued to United Artists Corp. First is promotional sheet featuring art and announcing “Special Notice To All Aviation Fans.” Mentions the May 17th premiere at Rivoli Theater. Second paper is one-page synopsis. Third paper on “United Artists Corp.” letterhead is typed letter to the editor of Autogiro News. Text notes the two papers we previously mentioned as well as the availability of a set of stills. Signed in ink by William C. Erskine who is listed with title “Mickey Mouse Publicity.” Final item is mimeographed sheet with response to Erskine from R.W. T. Ricker Assistant to Vice President of the Autogiro Co. of America. Text includes thank-you for the Mail Pilot material and mentions that if the set of stills somehow related directly to the Autogiro they could be used in an issue of “Autogiro News.” Each paper has staple holes at top left corner, all have light original fold lines. All remain clean, VF. Very interesting group. These are the actual examples shown in The Official Price Guide To Disney Collectibles by Ted Hake and comes w/COA.
