Item Description
This 1930s bank came in both standard and expo versions as well as a number of color varieties (see next item #610). 2.25x4.25x2" tall designed like a chest. Metal overlaid w/lightly embossed oilcloth fabric, brass-plated side panels. Designed like a brick building and on top are full figure images of Mickey and Minnie w/text "Mickey Mouse Bank-Be Thrifty-Save Your Coins." On front side is bank entrance w/portraits of Mickey and Minnie at windows w/additional text "Deposit Your Coins In The Mickey Mouse Bank." Color variety in cream w/red accents. Missing generic key. Moderate luster wear to the brass-plated side panels, lt. wear to the fabric-covered body. Fine.
