Item numbers 1-499 in auction 198
Item Description
Lot of ten 2.25x5.5" ribbons. Three include word "Tacoma" and all 10 also read "Souvenir Welcome President Harding July 1923." For some reason, the one bw "Tacoma" ribbon is composed of two vertical fabric panels neatly machine sewn up the middle. The other nine are all standard single sheets of fabric. Harding visited Tacoma early July 1923 en route to be first president to visit Alaska. He died about one month later in San Francisco. Minor lt. wear. Very clean and overall VF. A rare group.
