2.5x5.75x9.5" tall hand-painted figural bank. When lever is moved, O'Neill's arm holding gavel taps coin into Reagan's head. Cast into backplate reads "Commemorating The Great Political Feud Between President Ronald Reagan And Speaker Of The House Tip O'Neill ©1983 Miley's Inc." Has original aluminum trap. Comes with 2.75x4" folder titled "Those Wonderful Mechanical Banks." Inside gives brief history of mechanical banks and explains design and manufacture of this bank. Mint as made. Previous examples sold by us have realized prices between $345 and $500.
