Item Description
10" long mostly tin litho car comes in box w/nicely illustrated lid. 1960s by T.P.S., Japan. Box has scattered lt. wear, tight and Fine. Car is a Porsche 911S two-door coupe. Complete w/separate attachment for roof of vinyl cameraman behind tin litho camera. Body of car features text and logos including "World News/UPI New York/STP/Kyodo Tokyo," etc. along w/images of transmission tower and cameras. Toy designed w/"High-Technical Action" which is designed to have car to travel in a set pattern of a short circle and then a wider loop. Motor runs but toy does not travel, most likely due to a crack in the vinyl drive gear which could be replaced. Tiny scattered paint marks but as produced as this is old store stock, box complete w/inserts. Near Mint. Superb design. Scarce.
