4.5" long cardboard box w/hinged lid contains pocket watch w/2" dia. metal case. 1934. Box is complete w/separate brick design cardboard insert to hold the fob although a fob is not included. Same art appears on inside/outside of lid and features Practical Pig building his brick house w/inset portrait of the Wolf. Moderate dust soiling and scattered wear, mostly along edges including some color rubs. All corners remain tight. Fine. Dial features great full figure images of Three Pigs plus large Wolf head w/separate eye that moves as seconds tick. Back of case is designed like a brick wall w/large door at center w/incised text "May The Big Bad Wolf Never Come To Your Door/Walt Disney." As is typical, the red accent paint on case back is missing, however, case retains near full silver luster. Dial is bright and clean w/very strong color, especially to the red bkg. which was prone to fading. A few pinpoint dots of white paint off hands but overall still a running and Exc. example of this classic character timepiece. Even includes original guarantee paper. Scarce w/box and in this condition.
