Item Description
c. 1950 2.5" large button from Philadelphia showing cartoon man in Quaker-like clothing reading his copy of the "Fun Book" as he is about to step into open manhole. Text at right says "Silly Philly." Reverse has metal back and bar pin. Maker's name Philadelphia Badge appears on curl. Couple of tiny indent marks and scattered small hairline scratches but showing only in reflected light. Displays totally clean and with nice gloss. Only example we've seen and comes w/Hake's COA.
