Universal. 1954. Original cardboard box reads “Gene Autry’s Child’s Kit No. 4080.” Box has extensive moisture staining and 1.25” tear to one end flap and 4” tear at flap edge. Box remains intact but is just Good. Box is Rare. Lunchbox band and back panel all are cowhide print and front is “Melody Ranch” scene of Gene with lasso on rearing Champion. Box has lt. scattered trace of wear with a few hairline scratches to main panel of box but remains bright and glossy. Displays Exc. Comes with “Gene Autry” 8” tall half-pint vacuum bottle with “Melody Ranch” scene showing Gene playing guitar with Champion. N. Mint with original cardboard packaging in interior. As nice a vintage box as any we’ve seen.
