Produced by Super-Swim, Inc. © National Comics Publications, Inc. c. mid-1950s. Part of an extensive line of “Superman Official” swimming gear produced at this time that included larger size fins (see following items #2067-2068) and several other branded kits. Box lid shows Superman posing with boy and girl wearing goggles and swim fins. Die-cut display on lid has been punched as designed. Box has scattered lt. aging from storage but remains structurally sound and VF/Exc. Box also mentions included 2-3/8x3.75” “Superman Safety Swim Club” membership card which has nice Superman image and “Superman” comic book title logo. Back of card has “Superman Safety Swim Club Rules” and card remains unused. Exc. Fins themselves are lightly aged from storage but are essentially N. Mint, unused old store stock.
