Auction #199 - Part II
Item numbers 973 through 2378 in auction 199
Item Description
13.75” tall hollow painted plaster statue. This example is done in an odd pink color scheme with dark sparkle accents on simulated stone base. This is a similar variety to other King Kong carnival statues we’ve offered in the past but unlike those we’ve offered, this variety has no openings between Kong’s arms and legs and statue is cast as one unit. c. 1930s. Sides of base have minor chips/production hairlines but are of little consequence and piece remains structurally sound. Exc. display. Unusual and charming pink color scheme.
