11.25x14.25” hardcover. Published by Columbia Pictures to promote films for the 1934-1935 season. Colorful presentation features title page by artist Arthur Syzk who has also provided art for last page. Book highlights stars and films and has an Art Deco feel. Some of the directors/stars featured include: Frank Capra, Claudette Colbert, Howard Hawks, Jack Holt, Johnny Mack Brown, Lupe Velez, Myrna Loy, Fay Wray and Edward G. Robinson. Films mentioned include “Lady Beware!, Lady Of New York, Murder Island, The Girlfriend, The Depth Below, Party Wire (pages stuck together at binding), Man Proof, Broadway Bill, Mistaken Identity, I Confess (with one loose page and one missing page), White Lies” and 2-page spread featuring “Scrappy” and “Krazy Kat” cartoons. One page has 5x6.5” clip. VG overall. Limited distribution. Additional photos online.
