Item Description
9-3/8x10.75x.5” deep box contains 8.5x39” wool muffler/scarf with attached 2x3” fabric label with nice Popeye image showing him wearing muffler. Label has 1929 KFS copyright though this is produced in the 1930s. N. Mint. Box has great Popeye image showing him wearing “Popeye Muffler” complete with tag and showing it group of 4 children with snowman in bkg. saying “Blow Me Down Kids! I Ain’t Never Cold Cause I Allus Wears My Popeye Muffler.” Box shows lt. wear with two .5” tears to box lid side panels and .5” area of surface paper lift in upper right corner from price tag removal. Fine-. First we’ve seen boxed in our 43 years.
