Item Description
Pair of 3.25x5.5” postcards from 1959. Front designs are identical although one is on white paper stock while the other is off-white. At center is photo of the Colonel dressed as Santa Claus and on either side are photos of Elvis in military uniform. Text reads “Holiday Greetings To You All From Elvis And The Colonel.” Off-white card has unused standard postcard back. White card has “Western Union” facsimile message on reverse. Text notes Elvis’s intention to have a new record as soon as he returns from Germany. Bottom margin text notes “Copy Telegram From Elvis To The Colonel For His Fans.” Off-white card is Exc., other has slightest aging but VF.
