Auction #199 - Part II
Item numbers 973 through 2378 in auction 199
Item Description
6-1/8x9-1/8” blister card contains 3.25” tall poseable action figure by Funskool, a company that produced G.I. Joe 3.75” tall figures in India. During the early 1990s, this company pieced together G.I. Joe parts to assemble a figure that closely resembled Superman who is depicted on the blister card front. Despite Funskool being authorized to produce G.I. Joe figures in India (as seen by official G.I. Joe card reverse), Funskool was not authorized to produce Superman merchandise, hence why the name “Superman” does not appear anywhere on the package containing this knock-off figure. An interesting and scarce figure. Card is Exc. with figure Mint on card. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
