Large 10x15x8” deep box contains complete 6-piece set by the Sun Rubber Co. 1950s. Nicely illustrated box includes different images of The Lone Ranger as well as items in this set. Box has heavy and obvious wear including numerous creases, interior has some tape reinforcements. However, box remains structurally sound for display. Two of the six pieces feature images of The Lone Ranger, the basketball and football. The other 4 items are metal basketball goal with net, plastic whistle, “Official Referee” armband and Sports Rule Book. Book has 2-page center spread with photos of different footballs and basketballs available including those featuring Lone Ranger as well as Donald Duck. Balls have moderate aging and wear from use but both remain inflated. Other items show scattered wear and aging. Overall set is Fine. Rare, the only complete boxed set we’ve offered in our 43 years.
