Lot of three, each about 23x35”, ©1970 and printed by Gawdawful Graphics/Sunset Marketing Inc. of Los Angeles, CA. Each is done in bright day-glo colors. First is titled “Ain’t Gonna Work On Dizzy’s Farm No More!” a take-off on the Bob Dylan song “Ain’t Gonna Work On Maggie’s Farm No More.” Depicts Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy getting stoned by means of a hookah pipe. Second poster is titled “Easy Rider 1947” and depicts Popeye and Olive Oyl having sex. Lying next to them is an empty can of spinach, in the bkg. Swee’ Pea looks through a window in a very puzzled manner. Photos of Popeye and Bluto hang on the wall. Third poster is titled “Valley” and depicts a bizarre-looking caveman pointing to the side of a mountain which bears text which is a variation on Psalm 23:4 “A Walk Through The Valley” ending with the line “Cause I’m The Meanest Son Of A Bitch In The Valley.” All have scattered margin wear with some tape staining to reverse corners as once mounted. All art remains totally bright and clean, margin defects could be easily matted out. Overall Fine. A great trio.
