6.5x7.5x6.5” tall tin litho toy comes in illustrated box. 1950s. Box has all-over scattered wear with some tape residue and surface paper rubs but images remain largely unaffected. Fine. Toy has attached crank and hinged lid which opens to reveal operating mechanism and design for attachment of paper music roll. Inside of lid has image of Mickey and Donald holding instructions while outside features images of them along with Snow White and Dwarfs, Three Little Pigs, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Goofy all playing instruments and dancing. Toy is designed to produce musical sounds by the inner bellows blowing air through the music roll which in turn produces an accordion-like sound. Works. Comes with a total of 13 music rolls for such songs as “Silent Night, London Bridge, Three Blind Mice,” etc. Rolls show some aging of the paper but are complete. Player has scattered paint wear along extreme edges with some other random scattered nicks. Glossy and Fine. Great design.
